2008-2009 Petersburg Crimson Wave were Central District & Central Region Champions.  The Crimson Wave were once ranked #22 in the nation according to ESPN.com.  Petersburg  ended the season with a 30-1 record after a trip to the 3A VHSL state tournament. The 2009-2010 Petersburg team is led by senior DuVaugh Maxwell who is being recruited by several Division I programs.
Bendictine
2008-2009 Benedictine Cadets were ranked #2 in the VISAA state rankings.   Benedictine won the 2007 & 2008 VISAA state title.  The 2009-2010 Cadets are led by junior Michael Gbinije who has scholarship offers from Georgetown, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Syracuse and many other notable colleges.
John Marshall
2008-2009 John Marshall Justices were Colonial District Champions and Central Region Runner-Ups.  John Marshall has qualified for the 3A VHSL state tournament the last two years.  The 2009-2010 Justices are led by Wake Forest signee Travis Mckie. 
Brunswick
2008-2009 Brunswick Bulldogs were 2A state runner-ups.  The Brunswick Bulldogs have been state runner-ups three years in a row.   The 2009-2010 Bulldogs are  poised to make another deep run into this year's playoff picture.

Monarchs
2008-2009 Meadowbrook Monarchs finished 18-8 after making an impressive run in the Central Region playoffs.   The Meadowbrook Monarchs started this season ranked #2 in the Digital Sports Central Region Pre-Season Poll.  The 2009-2010 Monarchs are led by four-year starter, guard Andrew Simmons who is being recruited by several Division I programs.

2008-2009 Greensville Eagles finished 21-9 after making an impressive run to the Virginia 2A State playoffs.  The 2009-2010 Greensville Eagles are poised to make another deep run into this year's playoff picture.
Kima
Hawks
2008-2009 Kima Hawks won 21 games and defeated four teams in the Washington Post top twenty.  The Hawks proved that they could play with any team in the Metro area by taking preseason Top Ten, nationally ranked Dematha High school into overtime this summer.  The 2009-2010 Hawks are led by senior, center Jonathan Arledge who has committed to George Mason.

2008-2009 Matoaca Warriors were a tough and physical team.  The Warriors last made the Central Regional playoffs in 2007.  The 2009-2010 Warriors showcase Freshman, forward Brian White.  Brian is ranked top #100 in his class.
